Following recent working from home patterns I explored the option of adding a dormer roof extension to this existing three bed property. The brief was to design a reasonable sized home office maximising natural light from the south facing orientation. 

The resulting design includes deep window reveals to provide shading during summer months with large windows maximising natural light. The choice of standing seam zinc cladding aimed to mirror the proportions of the traditional slate roof whilst looking distinctly modern.
